There is now a permanent sidebar on the right side of the blog designated for NAIS links. They are alpha by state with the first 2 letters for the state and then the title of the article.
I do not intend to be the end-all / be-all information site for the anti-NAIS crowd - there are those that are more vested than I and more capable in disseminating information and resources... I will do what I can from my kitchen ;)

Read about NAIS long about two years back; evil beaurocratic spawn sold to the sheeple during the Avian Flue scare. As i am currently gearing for my not-too-distant move to my own boonies,the info & contacts will help (thanks, Meadowlark!).

C. again... just read AMISH#2 post. an addendum, if i may...
seems when i first heard of the NAIS-ty biz, there was an allowance for Mr. Big rancher and his ilk to purchase ONLY ONE tag if their herd/ lot size was above some minimum. sorry about the sketchy details; i'm goin' off memory here. and insofar as "beloved" tx... This state, which i currently inhabit, is second only to Caliphony insofar as restrictive laws; I'm outa here soon as i can be. Don't mean to rant... this whole issue-- both NAIS and texas laws-- touch an emotional core...
Bet, though, i'll be checking on and following my future state's stance on this.
