They got the REVOLUTION part right....

So, after I finish the Iran post and after I read the Wiki entry that talks about what typically spurs a Revolution (war, financial crisis, peasant rebellion or disgruntled military) I read THIS ARTICLE about the new Energy Revolution that the passage of the Cap and Trade Bill will spur....

They got the Revolution part right. If this dog clears the Senate, this country's troubles have just begun. There will absolutely no way for any company to grow - heck, maintain - in the HOSTILE environment that this bill would create.

The passage of this bill could seriously be the final nail in the coffin on this United States and by that I dont mean that we will get the Socialist crap of a Country that those in power wish us to have.... I mean that this Country could cease to exist or if it does, it would be after a genuine revolution.

This kind of bill creates an environment where people cant find work because companies cant afford to pay this crap tax and hire workers..... People who cant work get angry....they get hungry.....and too many hungry/angry people are whats called a PEASANT REBELLION and FINANCIAL CRISIS - we are hurdling towards 2 of the 4 reasons countries go through a Revolution.

Good Job Nancy - you just passed a bill that should lead to your own firing. Actually, something of this magnitude should constitute Treason. Thanks.....

The truly free man has nothing. Nothing to weigh him down, nothing to stop him from charging their gun barrels an bayonets.

They are creating those that they fear the most with their every action.

C'mon. Lets dance!

I've seen estimates in some of the financial journals coming into the office that put the cost of the "cap and trade" scam at about $3000 more a year for the average family. Electricity will go sky high, (as if it wasn't already) and gas will become even more costly.

Perhaps someone in government actually DOES have some foresight.

That would be the guy that decided it might be a good idea to have 20k Army troops - all trained in civil unrest - stationed stateside.

If Nanny keeps this up - and there is no indication they will stop - it is going to hit the fan in a big way. And soon.

I think the point of the bill is to create a crisis so the government can "solve" it.

The Cap and Tax bill would do nothing but harm to this country--it needs to be cut down in the Senate. We have another chance to stop this by contacting our Senators. Hopefully they will listen when we tell them to say no to this legislation...

"...your own firing..."?
Damn, Pearls- if she gets fired I sure hope it's over a pile of California tumbleweed and a few cypress trees. Throw on some redwood and a few oak just to make it hot, then pile on some tamarac and really let her cook before she's gone. While we're at it, let's throw Boxer on the stake, and, dangit, I'd LOVE to see Frankenstein from MN cook with them- and let's not forget Oberstar (he's the real enviro weenie in DC) and Klobuchar for starters..then add fuel to the fire and cook...

Get Out of Our House

Great concept. Will it fly? Only with everyones participation.

The problem is, most conservatives just want to be left alone to do their own thing. makes very hard to create successful organizations.

Oh, sure, when the the JBT's start rounding up people, they will get their act together and join the organizations trying to protect their rights.

Is it apathy, or just the overwhelming desire to be LEFT THE HELL ALONE! I think the latter.

I know it is for me. TPTB, I don't mess with you, stop messing with me!
