According to the Brookings Institute, OKC area ranks 2nd in Recession Proof Cities - Tulsa, OK is 9th....
I have long listed the advantages that OK has.... But this was a nice confirmation :)
I linked the story through the Chicago Tribune because personally, it makes me feel good to post something so fabulous from a city that is so corrupt that it produced our current President - President BO....

Interesting, I think the big picture stuff is worthwhile but on the whole your individual situation is far more important. There are recession proof jobs in Michigan the same way that some in Tulsa will be hard hit.
