Party like its 1773 - OKC Tea Party

It was a great day. It was just an absolutely wonderful day! Below are some pics from the Oklahoma City Tea Party and then a brief commentary....

I tried to get a good picture of the large number of people and it was impossible. The crowd was respectful and just a joy to be in. I keep myself towards the back - checking things out and it was a great feeling. The beautiful weather and lush green grass didnt hurt.

Notice all the "DONT TREAD ON ME" flags - if you dont count the smaller hand held American Flags, the Gadsden Flags were more numerous - I thought that was excellent.

The posters were by and large respectful and funny. There were very few inappropriate posters or those in attendance.

The OKC Tea Party was hoping to have about 1500 in attendance. Estimates hit the attendance at 4000 to 5000. EXCELLENT!!!!!
Since OK put the dome on the Capitol, its just a down right beautiful building...beautiful....

I could have wept when we all sang the Star Spangled Banner at the opening....

God Bless America and God Bless WE THE PEOPLE
