Obama playing games and why Confession is good for the Soul (or at least our Country)

Yeah, Obama is qualified to make these decisions....

STORY HERE

So, let me get this straight.....

The COMMUNITY ORGANIZER who has never been in business, ran a business or even worked for a private company OUSTED GM's CEO and is telling CHRYSLER and A FOREIGN COMPANY (Fiat) to MERGE and the U.S. will GIVE them 6 BILLION DOLLARS....

My question is this....who is Fiat SpA? Well, this is a pretty CONCISE OVERVIEW

For total transparency, our Farm owns a New Holland tractor and I think an Alpha Romeo is cute and dont get me started on those tiny, micro cars....I mean I could almost put one in my pocket - its like the puppy for the car industry.

So, back to the President playing Monopoly in real life.....let me guess how this thing will go.....This will RUIN Chrysler and we are going to loose MORE than 6 Billion dollars.....its just a guess, I could be wrong.

Whats really starting to hack me off is that I try very hard to AVOID at ALL COSTS any company that has taken Government bailout funds or was taken over by the Government or was issued a mandate by the Government or the Government recently enacted any legislation to control....

I can see that I could potentially RUN OUT OF PRIVATE COMPANIES with which to do business.....even growing my garden is under attack.

People.....I know it may be hard....I know it may go against every grain of your being.....but I just want to hear - ONE, JUST ONE - person say to the effect: "Yeah, my bad, I should have voted for the old white guy and the chick...."

Part of the problem in stopping what is going on is people not wanting to admit they were wrong. I been wrong plenty - the thing about this blog is that I get to choose the topics, so I can pretty easily steer clear of things that I am either wrong about or that make me look stupid (which is why everyone should have a blog - its ego affects are really nice....)

Saying you were wrong is freeing - there is no more pretence, there is no more of feeling someone has the upper hand - no more keeping up appearances..... Being wrong is the easiest of things to admit because believe it or not, the person you admit it to (even if yourself) has been wrong too many times to count.

So, just let it out - admit it to yourself and then to someone around you (preferably to someone who also voted for this American Nightmare) and lets get on with fixing this Country. Because as weird as it may sound - we dont just need McCain/Palin voters, we need Green Voters, those Obama voters too, and even those are NOT VOTERS.....we just dont want those really, REALLY weird ones.....you know who you are - do us a favor and stay away.....

my tactic with people who say "why is the government doing ______?" is slightly different.

First, I tell them what the Federal Government has decided is in our best interest.

Second, I rhetorically ask, "well, that seems pretty stupid, huh?" This usually yields a nod in agreement.

Third, I mention how, "well, this is what President Obama said he wanted to do in his campaign speeches" if appropriate, and "well, President Obama is the most left-wing president we have ever had" when necessary, and outline some examples.

When the person I'm talking to says "well, how can we stop the government from doing this?" (usually, they can't blame Obama himself, they blame "the government" as a nebulous whole), I simply mention, "well, you can swing vote in 2010. You contributed to this by voting democrat, you can at least SLOW THINGS DOWN by voting for republicans at the mid-term. That way, the erosion of our civil liberties will slow down with the in-fighting between branches." Don't tell them to vote republican to "fix" things, because they're as guilty as the dems. But emphasize the idea of swing-voting to create a barrier to things like the stimulus bill being voted on without being read. Emphasize that by voting for the nation rather than the party will be beneficial.

At least, that's what I do. Shaming is a Connecticut Attorney General job. I simply offer some of my perspective and how they can help stop the "change we can't believe."

Emphasize that only those dissatisfied Obama voters have the power to correct things, because truly, that's where the ground is to be made up.

oh, last but not least, love the site, love the topic, love the photos of your house in progress! Good luck spreading the "suburban survivalist" mentality! There are more of us than we think.

Umm, Pearls- I thought I was wrong once and apologised for it...then found out I was right, so I wasn't wrong after all. I tried to apolgise for that, but they said I wasn't wrong so it's not worth an apology because I only thought I was wrong and...
Trying to convince any Soterobama lover he's screwing things up is harder than convincing the sun to stop shining.

The 'old white guy and the chick' would have been just as useless. She was clueless, he is an establishment whore on par with Biden.

As a Ron Paul supporter, neither party has our best interest at heart. Both love high taxes and hate the public owning guns and continue to support more laws that pretend to give the government legal authority to snoop into anything and everything in our lives.
