Coupon Monday

I was there again...

My total was 54% saved....down from my 68% but hey - 54% people!

This is what I bought:

It seemed that cleaning supplies were where I saved this time - fine by me - those large Cascade boxes averaged about $1.99 per box - and these boxes are BIG :)

As for the Toaster Strudel stuff, I dont feed my kids that crap for breakfast, please people ;) They get free-range, organic eggs from my co-op farms.....this crap is for dessert and they were about a buck a box....

All this for $46.00....

Yippee!!!!

Happy Monday Folks....

Good on ya!
We can't use powder dish washing soap... we're trying to baby our pipes along for as long as we can. :)

Sure wish we had time for that stuff......

I see no staples in there..... Real economy comes in avoiding processed foods..... learn to cook stuff you like with the basics, buy the basics in bulk, and food becomes cheap.......

True, it does take a little more time to cook regular rice than the boil in the bag stuff....... but the cost difference is substantial.

MeadowLark - I am sure your pipes love you for it :)

Mayberry - it really takes no time at all - about 25 minutes to cut them all out and another 10 to match the coupons to the circular when it comes. And then just the shopping time....

Jimbob86 - My staples are bought at a significant discount elsewhere - this is just fun stuff - I but it for next to nothing and then just put it back. When the cans go on sale, I will clean house - been hoarding those coupons waiting.... I do cook from scratch - in fact, tonight we have homemade bake potato soup with chives, bacon and cheese - yummy!

Sometimes it just gets so boring buying all the food storage stuffs, so is just for fun - and I got so many cleaning supplies today!

You buying the boxed stuff for sport? Just to see how much you can stick the grocer for?

Here's a challenge: Using coupons and mail in rebates, buy 40$ worth of groceries and come out ahead......

Anon - Sport? Well it beats trolling and slamming someone for using coupons.

Pearls,
Anon is good opsec for some of us trolls.Yes I admit I'm a paranoid troll but we are not all bad hats so you don't want to dump us all in the same bucket.I troll most of the good blogs and I count yours among them. You can find a person's ISP and a regional location from their ip and unless they have a commercial account and a domain associated with the ip that is about all you are going to find without a court order.I am a man of my word and when given in person I stand behind it and count honesty, trust and integrity among my biggest assets.I enjoy your blog and don't let the PETTY trolls out there get to ya,they are just jealous.
