Someone please put the CONSTITUTION in his teleprompter!!!
President BO addressed a graduating class this past Sunday and told them that information is a distraction....
He also seemed to take a hard line on Apple products which makes me think there is something going on behind the scenes there, but it may just be my suspicious nature ;)
This video clip gave me chills... For a President who ran the most technologically advanced campaign in HISTORY - who is attached to his Blackberry like its an iron lung, to now state that information is a distraction would be hilarious if it wasnt so dangerous.
Information is power - Control the words and you control the argument. Words have meaning and they have power. They can break bones and they can hurt you.
Where is the First Amendment? Where is the press? Where is the ACLU?
Everything this administration says - listen very carefully. Do not fall into the trap of thinking that they mean what they say - do not fall into the trap of believing they dont mean exactly what they say. This Administration speaks out of both sides of their mouths....
And again - PLEASE - someone put the Constitution in this man's teleprompter - IMMEDIATELY!!

How can you tell if a politician is lying - their lips are moving. Each State of our great Nation needs to step up and pull in the reins on the Federal Government. Starve the bastards....I fear for my childrens future.

B. Hussein Obama starts by reminding the folks that "not everything comes very high on the truth meter." I gotta agree on that one, including the speaker in the video.
But what struck me was that he had nothing to say about how electronics distract from personal communications, destroy communication within the family and relationships and workplaces.
And, oh, by the way, isn't it marvelous how President Obama's complexion gets lighter. Reminds me of Michael Jackson.
Until this fool is out of office, along with all his minions, we continue to be in serious trouble!

I saw this yesterday and it sent chills down my spine. I'd hoped you would post about it!
What strikes me is how he says it distracts from our democracy. I'm quite sure that to limit information distribution is going AGAINST a democracy. What I gathered he was saying was that we should only be getting our info from "approved" sources or sources that have been "adapted". Ones that rank on HIS truth meter.
I can only imagine what this country would be if we began limiting information distribution points. Think about the countries that have banned Google, Twitter and the like...are ANY of those thriving democracies?
And, yes, he DID run a campaign based in social media and the web. Raised millions and millions from average, everyday, unsuspecting supporters through the internet. The same people accessing the internet through iPhones and iPads these days.
While you were watching the oil spill, the New York failed terrorist bombing and other critical crises, Hillary Clinton signed the small arms treaty with the UN.

On Wednesday the Obama administration took its first major step in a plan to ban all firearms in the United States . The Obama administration intends to force gun control and a complete ban on all weapons for US citizens through the signing of international treaties with foreign nations. By signing international treaties on gun control, the Obama administration can use the US State Department to bypass the normal legislative process in Congress. Once the US Government signs these international treaties, all US citizens will be subject to those gun laws created by foreign governments. These are laws that have been developed and promoted by organizations such as the United Nations and individuals such as George Soros and Michael Bloomberg. The laws are designed and intended to lead to the complete ban and confiscation of all firearms. The Obama administration is attempting to use tactics and methods of gun control that will inflict major damage to our 2nd Amendment before US citizens even understand what has happened.
Obama can appear before the public and tell them that he does not intend to pursue any legislation (in the United States) that will lead to new gun control laws, while cloaked in secrecy, his Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton is committing the US to international treaties and foreign gun control laws. Does that mean Obama is telling the truth? What it means is that there will be no publicized gun control debates in the media or votes in Congress. We will wake up one morning and find that the United States has signed a treaty that prohibits firearm and ammunition manufacturers from selling to the public. We will wake up another morning and find that the US has signed a treaty that prohibits any transfer of firearm ownership. And then, we will wake up yet another morning and find that the US has signed a treaty that requires US citizens to deliver any firearm they own to the local government collection and destruction center or face imprisonment. This has happened in other countries, past and present!
