I'm glad I listened and followed his advice on the ethic of hard work, perseverance and saving your hard earned dollar. Looking now at this whole mess that the country has gotten itself into this time, I think that's it a good thing. Reigning back on racking up tons of debt, living beyond your means is finally coming around to slap people in the face again...
